It’s summertime, which means lots of marching! I had a blast participating in Pride parades around the province. Pride is political, and I think it’s important to have your elected officials present to show allyship. Your voice matters and I am committed to maintaining a safe space in my office for the LGBTQ+ members of our community to feel heard.
In addition to Pride, I was also present for the Natal Day Parade in Dartmouth. It was amazing to learn more about our province’s heritage and celebrate with the community.
